The winners of the Her Abilities Award 2020 have now been determined
The award will be presented on 12 February 2021 at 1 pm CET at an online event during the international Zero Project Conference. 124 women from 48 countries were nominated in the three categories "Arts, Culture and Sport", "Health and Education" and "Rights".
A prestigious jury of experts has now selected three of them.
This year, due to the pandemic, the Her Abilities Award celebration will come to you, wherever you are… be it Addis, Beira, Juba, London, Ouagadougou or Vienna… we’re going online!
Light for the World brings the Award celebration onto your screen in a live-streamed TV session, as part of the Zero Project Conference.
In the session, we will not only announce the winners 2020, but also celebrate several other successful women with disabilities around the globe who make a difference towards an inclusive society and share do’s and don’t’s from them on how to change culture in the workplace and beyond.
